Obituary for Robert "Bob" Brumbaugh

Robert "Bob" Steen Brumbaugh, Sr., (Sgt., USMC), age 85 of Dayton, passed away peacefully April 28, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father Capt. Nathan Kingsbury Brumbaugh and mother Caroline Steen Brumbaugh, also of Dayton, and survived by sisters Sally Ridgeway (Brumbaugh) of Georgetown, TX and Nancy Brumbaugh of Berkely, CA and their families. Robert and the late Patsy Brumbaugh (Hendricks) were the proud parents of 8 children, Jan David (Charlene), Lee Francis (Kathy), Robert S. Jr. (Cindy), Natalie (deceased), John Mitchell (deceased), Melissa Brumbaugh Brooks (Scott), Joseph Brooks and Amy Elizabeth Graves (Justin). Bob was blessed with and very active in the lives of his large extended family as well, including 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends & loved ones on Friday, May 5th at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00pm. Memorial service to follow immediately after.
