Obituary for Thomas R. "Tom" Hasty

HASTY, Thomas “Tom” age 70, of Butler Twp., passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by daughter Elizabeth A. “Beth” Hasty in 2012 and 3 brothers Ron, David and Bill. Survived by his wife Sue, a sister Cheryl Bowlin, a brother Wayne Hasty and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Tom graduated from Stivers High School in 1965 and Wright State University in 1970. Tom served in the US Army. He was a long-time member of Shiloh Church and was employed 27 years at the Mound Lab in Miamisburg. He was currently working at AK Steel in West Chester. Services and a Tribute of Tom’s Life will be held 7 p.m. Monday April 24, 2017 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. by Pastor Jay McMillen. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 p.m. until time of services. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Montgomery County Humane Society or Stand Up 2 Cancer in Tom’s memory.
