The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Zulliger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Mark Salinas

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I always looked forward to stopping by the office when I was in town to say hello. He would always asked me, "So how's life in the Big Apple?" and he would put aside what he was doing and lean against the wall outside his office for a chat. I remember growing up hearing of all his travels- the countries he had visited and the mountains he had climbed and just being mesmerized that someone I knew could do such a thing. He once returned from his travels with a few foreign coins to give me and I loved examining these strange bits of illustrated metal, studying all the markings and imagining the foreign places from where they came. I'd have to say, now that I think about it, that Jim literally put in my hand the curiosity and wonder, as a child, to explore the world and the belief that I too could do the same. Thank you Jim.
