Dick was always prepared when it came time to do taxes.  The engineer in him made out lists and spreadsheets; and so he always had a pretty good idea of the outcome before the taxes were completed.  Then he would go through his check list and ask me to confirm that each and every deduction had been taken.  I really enjoyed working with him over the years and we had some great chats as well.  He will be fondly remembered.
