MARNI, Andrea L. born October 4, 1939, beset by many physical ailments, died April 21, 2018, at Sycamore Medical Center. The daughter of Archimede Marni and Alma Logan (Marni), distinguished faculty at the University of Cincinnati, and younger sister of Sandra E. Marni (Shapiro), "Andi" was a 1963 graduate of UC"s College of Education, with a Masters of Education degree in 1967. She taught for over 30 years in California, 24 of which were spent in the elementary grades of the Salinas public schools. After retirement in 1994, she returned to southern Ohio where she is fondly remembered as a compassionate advocate of innocent and vulnerable animals., small dogs in particular.
