Obituary for Don L. Hazel

HAZEL, Don Leland, age 87, of Galloway, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at OhioHealth Doctor’s Hospital surrounded by family. He was born to the late William and Theodora Hazel of Perrysburg, Ohio on June 14, 1930. Don was a Korean War Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Loretta R. (Dennis), brother Neil (Jeanne), sister Joyce (Don) Hade, sons Mark (Joyce), Paul (Beth) and Jay (Tami), many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Don retired from Nationwide Insurance with 27 years of services. Don volunteered at Ohio Health Doctor’s Hospital and he and Loretta are members of St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church. Mass will be 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26th at the St. Simon & Jude Catholic Church 9350 High Free Pike West Jefferson, OH by Father William A. Metzger. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 p.m. until time of services at the church. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements entrusted to Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home.
