Obituary for John Edward Breidenbach

BREIDENBACH, John Edward, age 75, of Vandalia, passed away on December 19, 2017. He was born to Jack and Patricia (Mayer) Breidenbach in Dayton on December 19, 1942. He graduated from West Milton High School in 1960 and received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from The Ohio State University. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1968 and the Florida Bar in 1973 and practiced law in Dayton. He best enjoyed the time spent with his family and traveling to favorite destinations. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Breidenbach, of nearly 54 years; his daughter, Heidi Freeman (Jonathan); granddaughter, Julia; brother, Fredric Breidenbach (Kitty Klipstine); and sister, Joy Dudis (Roger). He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David C. Breidenbach. His family expresses its gratitude to Adam Weiser, M.D., his physicians at The Cleveland Clinic and to his caregivers from Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County for all their care and compassion. In keeping with his wishes, there were no services. Memorial donations in John’s memory may be made to The Cleveland Clinic Foundation or Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County.
