Obituary for Paul M. Howell

HOWELL, Paul M. age 93 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents Clever and Flo (Slater) Howell, a brother Dean and sister Augusta Biddle. Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years Phyllis (Boyer) Howell, daughter Kathy (Tom) Cribbs of Lewisburg, son Jerome of Chillicothe, daughter Ruth (Dan) McKowen of Painesville and son Tim (Odell) of Dayton, 3 grandchildren Christian (Tracy) Jackson, Sarah (Tom) Hancock, James Bowling, 6 great grandchildren Preston, Sidney, Chloe, Austin, Virginia and Sadie. Paul attended Roosevelt H.S. and served in the U.S. Navy. He worked 21 years at NCR and retired from Harris Thomas Drop Forge. Paul fought in the Golden Gloves in Dayton and was an avid football fan. He was a devout Christian in the Pentecostal faith for over 50 years and a graduate of The College of The Open Bible. Services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday October 16th, at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. by Pastor Sam Berger. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of services. Graveside services 2 p.m. Monday at the Dayton National Cemetery.
