Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Olszewski (Crow)

Mary Elizabeth Olszewski (Crow)
OLSZEWSKI, Mary Elizabeth (maiden name Crow) died Friday, December 13, 2013,
at the SpringHills Singing Woods assisted living facility under the comforting care of Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. M.E. (she was known by her initials) was surrounded and comforted by her immediate family until she passed away peacefully. She was born on January 28, 1919 in Louisville, KY, and was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be greatly missed. She was married for 61 years to Leonard Olszewski (Major, USAF, Retired), who passed away December 7, 2010.

She is survived by her two daughters, Pamela Gaylor and Leslie Fuqua, her two sons Keith Olszewski and Kim Olszewski, and grandchildren Megan Fuentes, Jeff Gaylor, and Kellen, Kyle and Karissa Olszewski.

After marrying and becoming a mother of four children, she became a committed full time
homemaker and one of the best cooks ever! She was an avid reader, a crossword puzzle
aficionado, enjoyed traveling with her husband Leonard, including Reds Rooters baseball
games and the annual P-47 Pilots Association meetings, and, with Leonard, was a member of
St. Peter's Catholic Church in Huber Heights since 1964.

She will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., joining her beloved husband Leonard there, as she has already joined him in heaven.
