Rosemary and I met while attending Miami-Jacobs Jr. College in Dayton OH in 1972-1974. After graduation, we kept in touch. We went various places together including the Columbus Zoo and the Bob Evans Farm. At one point, she helped me move. She came to my place several times for dinner and also for Thanksgiving.

We had been singing in the sunset ave tunnel on the Piqua bike trail . there was a Krogers cart in the side of the trail. With a lot of encouragement she got in and enjoyed a speedy ride up and down the trail. Then to great amusement I pushed her up over and across Sunset ave a quarter mile or so we returned the cart to Krogers in the Fall of 2012 David Lawrence

When Rosemary was in Piqua we loved to do to the bike trail tunnel under Sunset ave in Piqua snd sing together. The reflective acoustics of the concrete walls and floor and the curvature of the concrete roof , created a natural amplification and reverbration as our voices blended that was quite other worldly. We would always sing first : Unchained Melody ( Holding the first word "Oh" as long as possible perhaps even 30 seconds startin softly and the volume swelling to the end of the word " The we would pause a couple seconds The second two words we sang slowly sensously and expressively "My love" And a little faster "My darling" a meaningfull pause " I'v hungered for your touch " Pausing " A long lonely time " usually we would only see each other on weekends , we knew what a long lonely time was. From there we usually didn't sing it as it has been recorded we woeld change words around and write our oun verses on the spot. She became god at this quite free and un selfconscious we laughed continually. "Cuddle up a little closer , lovely mine" Was usually the next song we would do and we sang it just as as recorded on youtube by Jane Fonda and Anthony Perkins. Then we would sinf faster songs and swing dance as we sang. The pic was taken in late october 2012 we were suprized to find a large amount of small flowers in the weeds outside the tunnel ,yellow and blue I picked and put in her hair. I had bought a pink feather boa for her , which always a modest and humble soul , she was hesitant to wear it. One day in 2011 we were riding in her car, she driving on the interstate and she couldn't escape. I held up with one hand and with the other hand holding the camera and snapped several pictures. It blended well with her plain pink top.

Rosemary frequently enjoyed going to Carriage Hill historical Farm, and had decided to sign up to become official volunteers. We were looking for the volunteer coordinator , but the building uas empty. Volunteers wear period costumes , and we waundered into the womens dressing room with shelves of hats and racks dresses. Soon she was joyfully trying on all the many hats and having a wonderfull time as i snapped pictures of her happy antics.

I was hosting a library table for the adult singles group, and I was looking for a girlfriend. I noticed her and began to watch her , and that she was always happy and at ease and that people all liked her. She was hanging around with a guy and dancing with him ,but he didnt seem too interested in her. So before long the group had a picnic at Van Atta park. I was sitting With Dr Jim Barna who a highly respected forensic psychologist and a keen judge of people. He let me know he thought she was a good one, and he and I began to hilariously chat and joke with her in the food line. I just sensed then she was the one for me. Every6thing else I found out as time progressed confirmed it. David

I was truly shocked to hear of Rosemary's passing. I lived across the street from Rosemary and her mother quite some time ago. We would play dominoes at the dining room table. I had visited with her Thanksgiving weekend 2011 when I was in the area. My sympathies to the family and all who knew her. She was a wonderful caring person to everyone she came in contact with.

For 6 years at Trotwood-Madison high school we walked the halls and entered the classrooms together. You would see Rosemary every day with that broad bright smile on her face as if she owned the world. I would say an occasional hello to her in passing, she would raise her hand in acknowledgement or say a quick hello, but never anything else. We never had classes together or ate lunch together. But as soon as I heard her name, Rosemary, I knew who it was and was tormented by the loss of her whimsical persona and smiles she gave me. As I look at her pictures above I see she didn't change at all. And now I get one more happy smile from Rosemary. God Bless you Rosemary. Loretta
