MITCHELL, WARNER 75, formerly of Dayton, passed away January 5, 2019 in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on March 1, 1943 to the late George and Jesse Mitchell. He retired from Auto Owners Insurance Company after more than 30 years of service. Warner was an avid golfer, karaoke singer, world traveler, and fan of the UD Flyers and UK Wildcats. He was loved for his sense of humor, prolific storytelling, poetic musings, and songwriting.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Anna, his second wife Sharon, and 6 siblings.

Warner is survived by his children Lisa (Paul) Lankford of Wooster, Nicholas Sr. (Pamela) of Beavercreek, Lynnette (Adam) Beach of Muncie, IN; grandchildren Jessica, Nicholas Jr., Mitchell, Allison, Christine, Anna, Helen; and brother Shirley Mitchell of Dayton.

A Funeral Service will be held 1PM Saturday January 12,2019 at Baker Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415. Internment Dayton Memorial Park. All are invited to attend a Celebration Reception immediately following at Tipp City Church of the Nazarene 1221 W. Main St. Tipp City OH 45371. A Celebration for Florida friends will take place Sunday, February10, 2019 from 6-8pm at Evie's Tavern, 5897 Whitfield Ave. Sarasota, FL.
