Obituary for Gregory Doyle Sucher

Sucher, Gregory Doyle, 67, passed away Saturday, December 22nd at Hospice of Dayton. Greg was born in Toledo, Ohio but spent most of his life in Dayton and is a graduate of Fairview High School. He was an ASE Master Technician and the owner-operator of Vandalia Auto Clinic, Inc. for 33 years. In addition, he hosted AutoTalk on WHIO Radio from 1989 to 2015. Greg is a Member of Solar Lodge #730, 32nd degree Master Mason, the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and belongs to the Dayton Antioch Shrine.
Greg is survived by his childhood sweetheart, Susan, wife of 47 years; their son, Richard (Sarah) of Needham, MA and grandchildren Kevin and Stephanie; sister, KenniLou Walker; niece Lindsey Granger of Tallahassee, FL and nephew Brandon Sucher of Vandalia; as well as other relatives and wonderful friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alberta A. Sucher and brother, Bruce Sucher.
The family will receive visitors beginning at 1pm on Saturday, December 29 followed by a memorial service at 2pm. Services will be held at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. in Dayton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3229 Burnett Ave. Cincinnati OH 45229.
