Obituary for Blaine Franklin Heeter

HEETER, Blaine Franklin age 84 of Brookville passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lydia; sister, Delores; and son, Bradley. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Frances; son, Blaine II (Danielle); grandchildren, Blaine III, Seth (Kristen), Johnathan, and Lydia; step-grandchildren, Justice and Theodora; and great-grandchildren, Brice and Gracelyn. Blaine was an avid motorcyclist who had ridden over 300,000 miles on his Harley Davidsons with many special friends. He served in the US Navy. He retired from General Motors and driving a bus for Brookville Schools. Blaine will be greatly missed by his family. Condolences may be left at www.bakerhazelsnider.com

To Blaine's family and friends, please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. I have found comfort in reading Job 14:14,15 where it shows that Jehovah God yearns to bring back to life the dead who are preserved in his memory. Dear Fran and family,

Tom and I were so sad to hear of Blaine’s passing.
When we saw both of you about a year ago at Frisch’s I asked Blaine how he was doing. He responded “ I’m in the last chapter.” It caused me to pause and think about what he was saying. He didn’t seem sad and he kind of laughed about it. I have thought about it often and hope that I can have that same great attitude.
