Englewood - Daniel Eugene Pierce, 60, of Englewood, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, in West Alexandria, Ohio. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 30, 1958 to John A. Pierce and Janet L. (Rose) of Dayton Ohio. He was only preceded in death by his parents.
Daniel is survived by one brother, Richard T. Pierce (Patricia) of Piqua, OH; one sister Karen L. (Pierce) Hall (Larry) of Orlando, FL and very special friend Judy Smith of Englewood, OH. He is also survived by three nephews; Michael Hall, Shawn Hall, and Donovan Pierce of Dayton as well as three nieces; Jennifer C. (Pierce) Schaeffer, Amy C. (Pierce) Francis of Piqua, and Nicole M. (Pierce) Bird of Troy.
Daniel graduated from Trotwood Madison High School, Dayton, OH., in 1976. He was actively employed at Dow Chemical Company in West Alexandria. Daniel will be missed by all who knew him. He lived an active life for the Lord. He was also an avid and expert chess player.
