MARTIN, Millicent “Cindy” age 59 of Vandalia passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Cindy was a veteran of the US Air Force. She worked for Texas Instruments and Triad Technologies. She got her associate degree at Sinclair Community College and Bachelor Degree from Nyack College with a Business Leadership degree with distinction. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Martin; daughter, Meredith Martin; mother, Susan Isham; and father, Michael Maroney. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Jeff; son, Michael Cooney; granddaughters, Coral and Erica; dad, Stan Isham; brother, Michael (Bernadette) Maroney; sister, Michelle Hamby; sister, Rachel Newman; Rebekah “Bucky” (Jeff) Marlow; step-brother, Mike (Barbie) Isham; step-sisters, Pam Baxter, Kathy Heatherly, and Dawn Maclean; special niece, Madilyn Ullmer and great-nephew, Eli, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 7pm Monday, November 19, 2018 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton. The family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of service. The family would like to give special thanks to her team of caregivers from Hospice of Dayton, the Veterans Administration, and Home Instead. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
