Condolence: Ruthanne, Robyne & Ricky, I've just learned this aft'n of Rob's passing. What a wonderful man & I'm happy to know he's no longer in pain but still such a shock. Please accept the sincere condolences of our entire "Chasteen/Schuck" family. I personally have so many wonderful memories of Rob's great laugh, humor, and he & my Dad's music duets for the church. Such fond memories of him playing the accordion to my Dad's guitar at Northwest Assembly, and who could ever forget the passing of the "snake in a can" amongst their cars during the building process? Rob often delivered Christmas gifts to the three of us, in Verona, the day before Christmas, which was always a huge hit & I fondly remember him also helping with some bodywork on my first car. I'll never forget that sad morning a decade ago, when I called to let you know that my Dad (Carl Chasteen) had suffered a fatal heart-attack the night before & you two were some of the first that I knew I needed to notify immediately. To this day, I'll always remember Rob's sobbing & both of you talking to me on the phone during that difficult sad time. You've always been there for us & I miss everyone greatly and please know I could probably write a book on Rob-ism's & happy thoughts. What a gentle, lovable, caring giant. He was always so very cool & fun, kind and genuine. We were blessed to have him (& your family) in our lives & our prayers to all. I'd like to think that he'll be reunited with my Dad soon & maybe we'll hear a duet from heaven soon! Love always, Cathy Chasteen-Schuck
