COMBS, Edward age 74, of Vandalia, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 peacefully at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born Jan. 30, 1944 to the late Edward C. and Sallie Combs. Graduated from Northridge High School in 1962 and retired from Delco Products after 31 years. He is survived by his wife Mary Beth, married at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church on Oct. 3, 1964. Also survived by daughter Deborah (Robert) Barrett, 3 sons Daniel (Jeannine), Abe (Natalie), Nathan (Heather), 9 grandchildren Samantha Davidson, Tyler, Ryan, Kylie, Andrew, Matthew, Ella, Luke and Gus, sister Linda (Jim) Lawson, brother Tom, sisters-in-law Sarah Bein, Becky Schiml, brothers-in-law, Paul and Tim Schiml. A Memorial Celebration of Edward's Life will be held 5:30 pm Tuesday, June 26th at Ginghamsburg United Methodist Church at the Discipleship Center 7695 S. County Rd. 25A Tipp City, OH 45371. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Dayton Foundation/Northridge Optimist Scholarship Fund in memory of Edward R. Combs, in care of Elizabeth Horner 40 N.
