Obituary for Douglas Schwieterman

SCHWIETERMAN, Douglas J. age 63 of Dayton passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Emily. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Laura; son, Brian (Amanda); daughter Kimberly; granddaughter, Emma; brothers and sisters, Fred (Marsha), Gary, Gloria, Rodney, and Debbie (Dave); and numerous other relatives and close friends. He graduated from Chaminade in 1972. Doug served in the Navy for 10 years, was an avid UD basketball fan, and a member of the Shiloh Athletic Club, Irish Club of Dayton, and American Legion 707. A celebration of life will be 1pm Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton 45415. The family will receive friends from 11am until the time of celebration.
