Obituary for Charles R. Brown

BROWN, Charles R. passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born Dec. 12, 1924 in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Charles served in the 13th Airborn Division at Fort Bragg N.C. 32 months including a tour in France in 1945. He was married to Winifred R. Keifer for 51 years until her death July 12, 1997. He is survived by two sons, Gary and Michael; four grandchildren, David, Michelle, Kevin, and Julie; 3 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bria, and Isabella. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10am Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 411 E. Second St. Dayton, OH 45402. The family will receive friends from 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
