JACKSON, Donald W. age 89, of Xenia passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Sue Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Lee Jackson; daughters, Terry (Dave) Pickering and Cindy (Mark) Mash; son, Tom (Karen) Jackson; grandchildren, Julie (John) Pickering-Campbell, Kayla (Seth) VanZant, Alex Pickering, Eli (Kay) Mash, Aaron Mash, Meagan (Eric) Miller, and Gideon (Brianna) Jackson; 6 great-grandchildren; niece, Robin Howard; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University in 1953, served in the Army from 1953-55, and worked 30 years for the Soil Conservation Service, retiring in 1983. He was also the founder of Jackson’s Strawberry and Produce Farm (1971) with his family’s help. He was an active member of Eleazer United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at 11AM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Eleazer United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
