Hart, Dorothy M. Age 76 of Dayton departed this life Friday, April 13, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Dorothy was a resident of Dayton, a graduate of Dunbar High School class of 1960. She is the youngest daughter of the late Eardy and Nettie Hart, and is also proceeded in death by sisters Ruby Hart and Pearl Hart brothers Louis Hart, Volley Hart and Leroy Hart. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Sheila Edwards, son, Mark Montgomery, sister Katherine Coleman and brother Larry Hart. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Andre’ Montgomery, Kaleena Battle, Monique Harrison and Lamar Montgomery, and four great-grandchildren; Michael, Elijah, Elias and Karter. A host of loving niece and nephews, cousins and close caring friends. Dorothy was a dedicate employee of General Motors, a licensed cosmetologist, and a member of Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the usher board. Dorothy had a loving, caring, and selfless spirit who did not hesitate to help those in need. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist Church, 1501 W. Third St. Dayton, OH 45402 on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Viewing will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service at 11:00.
