Johnny C. ""J.C.""  Wills, Sr.
Johnny C. “J.C.” Wills Sr. was born October 9, 1938 in Eutaw, Alabama. He spent majority of his childhood in Cumberland, Ky. J.C. graduated from Benham High School in 1958. In the late 50’s, he decided to move to Dayton, Ohio and Evelyn joined him a couple of years later. They got married in July 1961 and started a beautiful family. He was such a hard working man. J.C. retired from GM after 32 years of service. When J.C. wasn’t at work and once he retired he loved working in his yard along with tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. He was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. He loved sports and was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan. J.C. will be remembered as a great loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend. He gained his wings at age 79 on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Hospice of Cincinnati. Preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Wills, Sallie Wills and son Johnny C. Wills Jr. He is survived by his wife of 57 yrs Evelyn, 2 sons Timothy Wills and Anthony (Sonja) Wills, daughter Tina Cooper, 7 grandchildren Brittani, Jessica (Andre) Rollins, Courtney, Johnny III, Sydney, Joshua, and Dillardrae, 4 sisters Betty Powell, Virginia (Eddie) Ward, Patricia (Larry) Brown, Brenda (Donald) Nolan, 2 brothers Joe (Hazel) Wills, George (Joy) Taylor, and numerous other family and friends.
