LIGHTCAP, Ruth age 89 passed away Thursday January 11, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1928 in Dayton, OH. Ruth lived at Indian Lake for the last
20+ years, where she volunteered with several organizations including being Mrs. Clause and feeding the homeless. Ruth attended Indian Lake Community Church for many years.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Lightcap, son Gerald L. Lightcap; infant son Robert and companion Marvin “Squirt” Ross. She is survived by her loving children Donnie (Patty) Lightcap and Sue(Tim) Reilly; grandchildren Jennifer, Rebecca, Chelsea and Jarod; great grandchildren Ashleigh and Courtney; sister Jean Stueve; brother Kenny Trapp and Terri May, who was like a second daughter.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30AM Tuesday January 16, 2018 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415. The family will receive friends 5-7PM Monday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Holp Cemetery in New Lebanon.
