Obituary for James B Carville

James B  Carville
CARVILLE, James B. age 99 of Dayton, passed away on December 2, 2017 at Brookdale Beavercreek. Jim was born February 19, 1918 in Newark, OH to the late Joseph and Helen Carville. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Virginia (Ring) Carville; two infant brothers; and two sisters, Virginia and Judith. Jim is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Ted) Chenault and son Jim Carville; six grandchildren, Christopher (Jeni) Chenault, David (Sarah) Chenault, Daniel (Becky) Chenault, Melissa Carville, Katie Carville, Ashley (Jordan) Carville Rosiek; thirteen great grandchildren; seven nieces and three nephews.

He served in the Army Air Corp during WWII as a photographer. Upon returning home from the war he worked for Pantorium Cleaners and later Park Layne Apartments. He also volunteered for many years with the Harrison Township Fire Department. He continued his love for photography for the remainder of his life, producing many spectacular photos.

A Memorial Service will be held 3PM Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Baker Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton OH 45415. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton. Online memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerhazelsnider.com
