Obituary for Clarence A. "Bud" Mayer Jr.

MAYER, Clarence A. Jr., “Bud” age 84 of Tipp City, died unexpectedly Monday, November 27, 2017. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on December 10, 1932 to the late Clarence and Charlotte Mayer. He was a graduate of General Motors Institute and retired from Inland Division of GM after 37 years of service. Bud was a member of the Flying Club. He is survived by a daughter Stephanie Diane Mayer of FL, 3 nephews Scott (Laurie) McLean of Almont, MI, Erik and Craig Mayer of NY, 2 nieces Karen Radcliff and Audrey (Scott) Dybedock both of IN, sister-in-law Erika Mayer and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister Jean and her husband Charles and a brother Thomas Mayer. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Precious Blood Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Catholic Retirement Fund for the Religious of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati 100 E. 8th St. Cincinnati, OH 45202.
