Obituary for Martha Menker
Menker, Martha Ann (Todd) age 76. Went Home to the Lord on Friday October 27th 2017 surrounded by her loving family and faithful loving husband of 59 years; Proceeded in death by her parents, Loren Elbert Todd and Ernestine Gertrude (Todd) Boyd, and Daughter in Law Marsha Rae Menker. Survived by husband Clarence James Menker Jr., Daughters; Tonya (Robert) Brown, Toya Estes, Son; Clarence James (Stephanie) Menker III. Eight Grandchildren; Blake (Jane) Estes, Clarence James (Adrianna) Menker IV, Lindsay (Nick) White, Dakota Estes, Cole (Emily) Menker, Austin Estes, Makiah Estes, Taylor Brown and Seven Great Grandchildren, one sister Frances Jane ( Todd) Clark.
Martha and Jim owned The Century Bar for over 30 years, where she was especially known for her fabulous homemade food and desserts (Soups, ice cream, hot fudge sauce, pies and cakes, most popular the Century Boy Sandwich with fresh cut french fries, and numerous other goodies).
A loving mother and grandmother who deeply enjoyed time and games that went into the wee hours of the night with her grandchildren and ended with many long sleep overs, even days on end.
Rest in peace. A life well done.
Visitation for receiving friends and family will be 9:30 am-10:50am with memorial services at 11:00 am. On Saturday, November 4th 2017 at St. Mary Of The Assumption Catholic Parrish on 9579 Yankee Rd. Springboro 45066. If desired memorial contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice or the Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be provided
