KELLY, David J., “Dave” age 86 of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017. He was born April 6, 1931 in Morgantown, WV to the late Frank M. and Anna Mary Kelly. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and served in the U.S. Army Signal Core for 2 years and witnessed the testing of the atomic bomb in AZ. Dave was a member of the Sulpher Grove United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Huber Heights Lodge # 777 F. & A. M., Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton and the Antioch Shrine. Dave was a life-long WVU fan and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity at WVU. He retired from WPAFB. Survived by his wife of 62 years Gloria Lee Kelly, son Michael D. Kelly of Tipp City, a sister Mary Ann Phillips of Morgantown, WV and a host of other close friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 24th from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. followed by Masonic and Memorial Services beginning at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment Woodland Mausoleum.
