Obituary for James D Grice
GRICE, James David age 80 of Dayton, OH passed away September 14, 2017. Jim was born June 17, 1937 in Dayton, OH, son of the late James Robert and Opal (Ingram) Grice. He was 6employed with Green Tokai, Inc. in Brookville, OH retiring May 5, 2005 after 20 years of service. Jim was a member of First Grace Brethren Church since 1950. He was a volunteer at Wegerzyn Gardens and was an avid gardener.
Mr. Grice is survived by Nancy (Alley) Grice; 2 children Karen (Dr. Ken) Keller and Susan (Alan) Gardner; 5 grandchildren James Gardner, Alexander Keller, Mackenzie Keller, Kenneth Robert Keller and Benjamin James Keller; 2 great-grandchildren Savannah and Sophia Gardner; brother Sam (Barbara) Grice; nephews Stephen (Julie) Grice and Tom (Dr. Patricia) Grice; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Opal Grice and his infant brother James Franklin Grice.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10 AM at Friendship Village in the Convocation Room, 5790 Denlinger Road, Trotwood OH 45426. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Grace Brethren Church, 2624 Stonequarry Road Dayton, OH 45414 or The Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton OH 45420.
