Obituary for Bill Mote
MOTE, William (Bill), age 100, of Kettering, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 16, 2017. He retired as President of the Ohio Metal Products Company after 42 years of service. Bill was a past member of the Milton Athletic Club and enjoyed golfing since taking it up at the age of 70.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years Rita, who passed exactly 12 years ago to the day and son Thomas.
Bill is survived by his 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Regina; Jerry & Beverley; 5 grandchildren Terri, Wendy, Kevin, Elise and Chandler; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday September 22, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 411 E 2nd St. Dayton OH 45402, officiated by Rev. Angelo Anthony C.PP.S. The family will receive visitors 9AM until time of Mass. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton in Bill’s memory. Online memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerhazelsnider.com
