Obituary for Bernard W Meyer (Bill)

Bernard W. "Bill" Meyer, 70, of Miamisburg, OH passed away Tuesday, September 12. Bill grew up in Mishawaka, IN and was a life-long member of the New Apostolic Church where he served as a Deacon in the Congregation. He attended Bethel College in Mishawaka and in 1976 was graduated Magna cum Laude with a BS degree in Communications. He worked in retail for many years in various positions including department management for Kmart. Bill relocated to Ohio about 30 years ago.
He was in failing health for several years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Audriana (Vander Beek) Meyer, his sister Mary Lee Sawtelle, and great-nephew 2nd Lt. Nicholas Taylor. Bill is survived by his sister Corrine (Michael) Taylor, nephews Mark (Anne) Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Scott (Mona) Heidema, Charles (Kim) Heidema, his nieces Jill Ann (Scott) Smith, Amy (Richard) Veenhoven, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation, 10:00 AM Saturday September 23 with Memorial Service at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Mark Jauss, Jr. at the New Apostolic Church, 696 N. Fairfield Rd., Beavercreek, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to:
