Obituary for Anna Doree Patton (Reynolds)

Anna Doree  Patton (Reynolds)
Anna “Doree” Patton was born on May 19, 1930 in Eutaw Alabama to Philip
and Ethel Reynolds. She was the second of fourteen children; she attended
Starlight Schools in Eutaw. While still in Alabama, Anna married Willie
Patton and in 1952 they moved to Dayton Ohio.

Anna was a very kind-hearted person, she was giving and always had kind
words and a smile for everyone who passed her way. She was a faithful
Jehovah’s Witness for 60 years and spent countless hours reading the bible
and preaching the good news of the Kingdom. She enjoyed cooking, sewing
and knitting for her family.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Anna and Calvin
Rushing, her husband Willie Patton, sister Louise Odum, brothers
Aldridge, Calvin and John Reynolds, son and grandson Gregory and Gregory
Patton Jr., daughter in law, Barbara Patton and great grandson Malik
Preston Jones.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her children Willie Dean(Ronald)
Dewberry , James Edward Patton, Brenda Louise (John) Williams,
Robert Jerome (Juanita) Patton and Cynthia Ann McGhee, sisters Ruth
Hale, Ethel Cox, Annette Stevens, Jeanette Wilder, Mary Lee Byrd, brothers
Jimmie and Moses Reynolds, grandchildren Candice, Cory (Christina),
Celeste, Camille (Allen), Leslie, Courtney, Saber (Colin), Nicole (Ashley),
Micah, Stephen (Marie), Brian (Keisha), Louis, Amber, Jason (Ashley),
Crystal, twenty-two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives and friends
