HOWELL, Phyllis Jean age 87 of Dayton, died Sunday, July 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by husband Paul M. Howell. Survived by daughter Ruth (Dan) McKowen, son Tim (Odell) Howell, step son Jerome Howell and step-daughter Kathy (Tom) Cribbs, grandson James Bowling and 3 other grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, and a special friend Julia Foster. She was a retired LPN. She was a devout Christian in the Pentecostal faith for over 65 years where she was active with children’s ministry. Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday July 11, 2017 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton, OH 45415. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until time of services. Contributions may be made to the Ohio Hospice of Dayton in Phyllis’s memory.
