Robert B. "Bob"  Vedder
VEDDER, Robert B., “Bob” age 86 of Vandalia, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Bob was a US Air Force Veteran and graduated from Michigan State University. He came to Dayton to become the VP of Sales at H.A. Jones Company and retired as General Sales Manager at Continental Heberle in Dayton. He was a member of Vandalia United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his wife Susan A. Vedder on Dec. 21, 2014 and his parents Bruce and Ethel Vedder and a sister Betty Tall. He is survived by a daughter Nancy (Charlie) Noble of Boynton Beach, FL, 2 sons Joel (Barb) Vedder of Vandalia, and Steve Vedder of Rochester Hills, MI, 6 grandchildren Patrick and Erin Noble, Jeff and Allison Vedder, Miles and Simon Vedder and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Graveside services will be held 10 am Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Dayton National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 10th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N.
