Obituary for Margaret M. "Peg" Tatar (Bandura)

TATAR, Margaret M. "Peg" (Bandura), age 73, a life long resident of Dayton, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. Margaret was born March 21, 1942, daughter of the late Nicholas W. Sr. and Margaret (VegBali) Bandura. She was a 1960 graduate of Julienne High School. Peg retired from Rite Aid as a Pharmacy Tech after more than 25 years of service. She was also a former organist at Holy Name Catholic Church.

Mrs. Tatar is survived by son, Johnny Tatar of Dayton, OH; daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Neff of Brookville, OH; 2 granddaughters, who are the center of her world, Abigail and Marissa Neff; brother, Robert (Joy) Bandura; sister-in-law, Jan Bandura; sister, Kathleen Candee; brother-in-law, Gabe Tatar; special friend, Sandy Gentry; along with a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Gabor Tatar, Sr. on March 31, 2005; 2 brothers, Nicholas W. Jr. and Thomas Bandura.

A Funeral Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home, 5555 Philadelphia Dr., at N. Main St., Dayton, OH 45415, Pastor Danny Kincer officiating. Interment Dayton Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors 5-8 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Peg's memory.
