Obituary for Pauline Thomas (Tatone)
THOMAS, Pauline (Tatone) age 79 of Dayton, passed away October 23, 2015. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 8, 1936 to the late Larry and Francis Tatone. Pauline graduated from Kiser High School. She was a devoted mother and cheerleader to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Rita Catholic Church since 1960 and was a member of Miami Valley Golf Club with husband Jack.
Pauline is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years Jack Thomas and her sister Helen Tatone Harding.
She is survived by her daughter Teri Thomas Schneider; son Jack Jr. and his wife Stephanie Thomas; 7 grandchildren John Thomas (Christina) Schneider, Kyle Robert Schneider, Sara, Ryan, Jeffrey, Eric and Jackie Thomas, 2 great-grandsons Landon Schneider and soon Liam Schneider; sister MaryAnn (Ron) Schlater; brother John (Pam) Tatone and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM Monday October 26, 2015 at St. Rita Catholic Church 5401 N. Main St. Dayton 45415. The family will receive friends from 9:30AM until time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Pauline’s memory.
