Obituary for BOBBY DEE UPTON
UPTON, BOBBY DEE age 94, passed away Tuesday January 13, 2015 in Dayton. He was born on July 12, 1920 to the late Jesse and Susie Upton in Kentucky. He proudly served his country as a Technical Sergeant during WWII. He worked as an individual entrepreneur in landscaping for most of his life, and retired from Beerman Reality Company.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Dee Upton; 2 brothers Russell and Jessee "Ham" Upton and 2 nephews David and Dick Upton.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife Ilene of 74 years; children Bobby Lee (Roxann) Upton and Linda Lou (Jim) Upton-Sass; 2 grandchildren Jennifer Lynn (Brian) Oskey and Kymberly Sue Upton; great-grandson Logan Christopher Oskey and also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:30AM Monday January 19, 2015 at Baker/Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton @ N. Main 45415 The family will receive relatives and friends 5-7 PM Sunday January 18, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial at Woodland. Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Hospice of Dayton. Online memories and condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerhazelsnider
